San Diego Trip, Day 3: Horton Plaza and Seaport Village

Before heading home, we spent a few hours at Seaport Village which was only a 15 minute walk from our hotel. We had just been there a month before during the cruise, but we decided to come back again. Afterwards, we spent some time at Horton Plaza, an outdoor mall in downtown San Diego which was right next to the hotel.

San Diego's skyline is sometimes described as a toolbox because of the oddly shaped buildings. Here is the Phillips-head screwdriver. There is also a flathead, allen wrenches, and other strange shapes.
