My first stop was a park on Lake Washington. They have an interesting display of the fins from decommissioned nuclear submarines. It's supposed to look like the fins of the Orca whales in Puget Sound.
The park is a popular spot for flying kites.
Lake Washington.
Once I drove downtown, I stopped at the Space Needle.
There's a good food court with some children's exhibits near the Space Needle. There's also a science museum but I didn't have time to stop there.
I walked from the Space Needle to Puget Sound. Unfortunately, train tracks blocked my path to the shore once I got close.
Finally, after finding a crossing, a very slow and long train blocked my path for a while.
There's a park on the other side of the tracks along with Puget Sound.
Sailing seems to be popular.
A view of Seattle, which seems to be under a lot of construction.
A seagull.
The Space Needle as seen from the park.
The Space Needle again.
