Ditch Day 2001

This year's ditch day was on May 17. I did the James Bond Stack, created by a bunch of the seniors upstairs. There were twenty-some underclassman involved in doing the stack.

Marko, evading the "laser beams" in an attempt to get the first PAL, hidden somewhere.

Closing the dumbwaiter door so it can be sent to another floor.

Dustin comes from the first floor.

After finding the PAL, it is decrypted and read in the decryptor device.

The group heading to the next event, where they will have to redirect the course of an armed nuclear warhead.

A bra has been draped over the edge of Millikan library.

Studying the device which will be used to divert the warhead, visible on its launch pad.

Firing infrared at the control satelites, hoping to find the correct sequence to launch the warhead.

Studying the circuitry.

Finally, after safely launching the rocket. It lands in a tree. Luckily, it is close enough to the roof that it can be recovered without too much trouble.

The second PAL is extracted from the nose cone.

In another challenge, a solid concrete cube is pulled from the bottom of the Chester swimming pool. It contains another PAL.

Karen takes a wack at it.

Finally, the center is exposed, and the PAL removed.

At last, entry into the locked room is obtained when all 6 PALs are in place.
