A day after the wedding, we drove back to Kaohsiung from Taipei. Along the way, we stopped at the house of some of Helen's relatives. It is a farm house, out in the country -- far different than the usual urban lifestyle in Taiwan. After spending a short while eating lunch there, we continued south and stopped at a museum in Tainan. The museum is run by the owner of a very successfully chemical company, so he has a lot of artifacts that he's collected: taxidermy, paintings, porcelain, musical instruments, and historic weaponry. Unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures inside, by I did take pictures of the statues outside the museum.
