Independence Day Fireworks

The legendary Boston fireworks as seen from our apartment. I set up a tripod next to the window to try and get the best pictures I could of the fireworks.

As dusk falls, the river is full of boats there to see the concert and fireworks. The Hatch Shell, where the concert is performed is visible as the bright light on the far bank of the river, near the left side of this photo.

The finale of the 1812 Overture features a small fireworks display as a preview for the main show to come. Here's the first of them being fired from the barge.
